Carvers Steaks & Seafood: A Culinary Haven for Steak and Seafood Lovers

Last time I reviewed Carver's, the service was fine but the food was underwhelming. This time, however, I enjoyed an amazing meal--but experienced so-so service. The coconut-encrusted halibut is absolutely heavenly! I would eat it any day of the week. The mud pie they served my husband as a birthday dessert was also incredible. My father-in-law was being a bit particular, and I appreciate the staff in being patient with him. However! The butter was rancid, and there was a hair in my salad. And the restaurant has no cups with lids and straws. I understand that children aren't the usual clientele, but they do exist and do come to dinner with their parents on occasion. And I have disabled acquaintances who have to use a lid and straw--so it seems like it would be in the restaurant's best interest to keep some on hand.

First time coming here. The food was delicious and the service was great. Our steaks were cooked to the right temperature as ordered and they were good quality for the value! We had the baked Brie for an appetizer and a glass of wine. I recommend Carvers and we will be back again.

We came here for dinner for early Valentine's dinner. We booked our reservation on Yelp which was super easy & nice . We were seated right when we walked in. We love the relaxing atmosphere here. The waitress was very friendly & attentive. We ordered the coconut. encrusted halibut This was amazing . It is covered with a sweet pineapple sauce . It was not too sweet just the right flavor. The fish was light & flakey . It was a good size portion. I got a bake potato with sour cream & butter . This was done perfect. . We also ordered the Prime Rib we wanted it a little bit more cooked .This was super tender & seasoned . The sourdough bread is so yummy & crisp . They have Coke products . We love it here ! We will definitely be back

This is a classier steakhouse that feels warm with its dim lighting. The wait staff was fantastic and catered very well to our large party. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and was able to joke with us throughout the evening. The food was amazing. If I could eat that same steak every day for the rest of my life, I just might. The fries were a little thick for my taste, and I'm sad the Italian sodas didn't have free refills because they were so good. I had to splurge to eat here, but I think it was more than worth it.
